The capital city of Australia is Canberra (many people think it’s Sidney which is not true). Some of Australia’s main city attractions include the world-famous Opera House in Sydney and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The Northern territory of Australia offers tourists something great from the past. Here, from the Red Centre to the base of Uluru, you can get acquainted with the history and traditions of the aborigines of Australia. The Aboriginal tours are very popular now, and allow you to see with your own eyes the Aboriginal art and life. The Aboriginal rock art of World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park is something that cannot be missed.

Western Australia offers the tourists unspoiled areas, excellent beaches and real Australian travel experience. The main city of Western Australia is Perth, which is the forth biggest city in the country. Perth has many clean beaches (which is not always usual for such big cities). In Perth you can see one of the greatest collections of the Aboriginal art (visit the Western Australian Museum) and enjoy ocean life in the huge aquarium called Underwater World. The best view over Perth can be experienced from Kings Park sitting on Mount Eliza. This huge park features 400 hectares of towering trees, natural bushland, lakes, grand lookouts and sculpted botanical gardens.

To discover some of Australia’s wildest parts you can also visit the smallest island of the State. This is the island of Tasmania that has long stretches of uninhabited beaches, wild mountains and forests, historical sites, and a rugged shoreline.
